more renewal and drug resistance. Recently, we have expanded these studies and studied human pancreatic cancers and normal hematopoiesis. In addition to these basic studies, the lab also focuses on translational research and the development of novel therapies that target cancer stem cells in hematologic malignancies. More than a dozen clinical trials have been initiated based on these preclinical studies.
