Dr. Wisnivesky is a pulmonologist and health services investigator whose research focuses on cancer epidemiology and outcomes research. Dr. Wisnivesky’s core work is related to the prognosis, treatment and disparities in lung cancer care. His research has unveiled the rates and underlying reasons for disparities in lung cancer care and has shown that lung cancer has a more benign progression in women indicating differences in biologic behavior.
