The focus of my research has been on the pathophysiology, diagnosis and treatment for people with heart failure. Our group has been active in human physiological and mechanistic studies performed in both the invasive and noninvasive exercise laboratories, where we have focused on the mechanisms of exercise intolerance, diagnostic approaches, and interventional studies ranging from proof of concept translational trials testing newly identified pharmacologic and device-based therapies to multicenter clinical trials.
