Andrew Wang is a practicing internist and rheumatologist who runs a laboratory studying inflammation physiology at Yale University. Andrew sees patients with undiagnosed inflammatory syndromes. His lab broadly seeks to understand how type I and type II inflammation reorganize physiology to enable survival. His laboratory uses a combination of human samples, animal models, and interdisciplinary methods to make fundamental discoveries amenable to clinical translation. Andrew lives in Connecticut on his farm with his wife and four children.
