Dr. Taia Wang is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Microbiology and Immunology at Stanford University School of Medicine. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts from New York University, and her PhD from Mount Sinai School of Medicine where she wrote a thesis on the structural determinants of influenza virus neutralization. She further completed her MD also from Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and then finally her Masters of Science in Clinical Investigation in 2018 at Rockefeller University. Dr. Wang then went on to receive her postdoctoral training from the Laboratory of Immunology and Molecular Genetics of Jeffrey Ravetch at the Rockefeller University studying human IgG and FcγR biology. Dr. Wang was appointed as an assistant professor at Stanford University in 2016, and has received tenure in 2024.
